Beaches

In our region, there are numerous beaches worth visiting. The first beach you will encounter is the beach of Cala Liberotto, characterized by a bottom of light-colored sand with large grains mixed with  emerging rocks in the blue sea. Behind it, you will find the Sos Alinos lagoon, surrounded by typical vegetation of reeds and agaves. Exotic prickly pears and dwarf palms surround the beach. Here, you can rent umbrellas, sun loungers, and boats. Several coves of various sizes follow, including the Swiss Beach, which stands out for its white sand with very fine grains and intense blue sea. Behind it, you will find the typical vegetation of junipers, pines, and agaves. The waters are transparent and shimmering with shades of blue, created by the sun reflecting on the seabed. The green vegetation, especially the juniper figs and dwarf palms, which line the beach, adds further chromatic effect. Thanks to the winds, these beaches are the ideal destination for surfers and loved by those who practice underwater fishing or simply want to dive into the waters with their mask and fins to admire the rich seabed full of pleasant surprises. The beach is several kilometers long and about fifty meters wide.   Near Cala Ginepro, in the Orosei area, you will find the beach of Berchida, several kilometers long, composed of very fine light gray sand, and washed by a crystal-clear sea that varies in color from green to turquoise. It is adjacent to the Bidderosa Oasis to the south and is an ideal place for long walks of several kilometers, where you can perceive a landscape rich in Mediterranean scents and colors. Along the shoreline, you can admire various shades of the landscape. The beach is surrounded by junipers, some of which are quite ancient and form curious natural huts. It is a magical and enchanted place for those who want to spend their days dedicated to the sea in relaxation and rest, guaranteed by the beach's size, which never becomes overcrowded, even during the busiest tourism months.
