Bidderosa, about one km from Calaliberotto, is a natural oasis. The park covers an area of about 530 hectares, mostly covered in Mediterranean vegetation. Within the park, there are 5 seldom-visited oases, as they have a limited number of visitors, reachable by car through a naturalistic route lined with beautiful pine, eucalyptus, and juniper trees. Barone, about 10 km from Calaliberotto, is an interesting natural oasis with a large panoramic view, golden sand, green and deep sea. It can be crowded in high season near the parking spots, but otherwise, it is a clean and deserted area with the presence of beached seagrasses. About 8 km away, Berchida beach is composed of fine light grey sand, and it is bathed in a crystal-clear sea whose color varies between green and turquoise. You can also venture about 10 km from Calaliberotto to the narrow alleys surrounded by stone that form the houses and streets of Orosei, a hillside and medieval town. Its numerous tourist and naturalistic attractions make it a popular destination. In addition to the numerous small churches, you can visit the only puppet museum, which was donated to the town by Don Nanni Guiso, an intellectual notary who has since passed away, and which enriches its cultural interest. The Gulf is certainly the most important attraction: it is a Marine Nature Reserve for the protection of the Monachus Seal, also wanted by WWF, which has curated an interesting permanent exhibition on this endangered species at the Bue Marino Center, near the homonymous caves, about 20 km from Calaliberotto.
